Privacy Policy

What we collect

We keep data collection minimal. We collect:

• Your player tag — you enter it so we can look up your public match history and generate your weekly reports.
• Your email — collected by Stripe at checkout and used to email your weekly reports. If you join the founding-members list, we store the email you submit there.
• Free-check email (optional) — if you ask us to email you your free breakdown, we store that email with your player tag so we can send it. We may follow up once about Crown Coach; ask us to delete it anytime.
• Payment information — your subscription is billed by Stripe. We never receive or store your card number; see Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
• Your public Clash Royale match data — using your tag, we fetch public game data from Supercell's official Clash Royale API (via the RoyaleAPI proxy): your recent matches, decks, card levels, win/loss, trophies, and opponents' cards. This is public game data, not private information.
• Basic, privacy-friendly analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not build a personal profile or track you across other sites.
• Usability analytics — we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (anonymized session replays, heatmaps, and scroll maps). Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded. We use this only to improve the site.
• Your weekly coaching reports and the advice given — we store these tied to your player tag for your reference and to help improve your coaching. Reports are stored securely and can be deleted at any time on request via support@crowncoach.app.

How we use it

We use your information to generate and deliver your weekly coaching reports and to process your subscription billing through Stripe. If you opted into the founding-members list, we may also use your email to contact you about Crown Coach's subscription.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers only to run the service, each under its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• OpenRouter / Anthropic — your match statistics (win rates, card levels, opponents' cards) are sent to an AI model to write your report. We send only what is needed to analyze your play.
• Resend — to email your report.
• Upstash — to cache your generated report (about 30 days) so you can reload it.
• Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymized usability analytics (session replays and heatmaps, with form inputs masked); see Microsoft's privacy statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com.
• Supercell / RoyaleAPI — the source of your public match data.

How long we keep it

Your generated reports are cached for about 30 days, then expire. While you are subscribed, we keep your player tag and email to deliver your weekly reports; if you opted into the founding-members list, we also keep that email until you ask us to remove it.

If you cancel your subscription, billing stops immediately. On request, we will delete your player tag, email, and any cached reports — email us at support@crowncoach.app and we'll take care of it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing us. If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR, and we will honor them.

Children

Crown Coach isn't directed at children under 16. If you're under 16, please use it only with a parent or guardian's involvement and consent, including for any payment.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, payments go through Stripe, and we keep collected data to a minimum. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
